AUDITOR
Will open and close all meetings.
Will organise all external and internal debates.
Will organise work-shops with Facilitators and get feed-back from members on same.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly with the assistance of the committee.
To be kept informed of any absenteeism (In particular if you have a role to play on the night as a replacement will be needed).
TREASURER
To ensure that all funds are receipted and accounted for.
To keep an up to date report at all times on accounts.
To ensure that no bills are outstanding.
To purchase items as required i.e. Stop Watch, Prizes etc.
Signatories to be available to sign cheques (3 needed on record) 2 to sign.
SECRETARY
To take minutes at meetings whenever required.
To keep updated records of members on email and postal addresses.
To ensure letters / emails are forwarded to all members on a fortnightly basis.
To liaise with the Auditor from time to time with regard to new information.
TOPICS CO-ORDINATOR
Rules on the Topics to be handed by the Topics Co-Coordinator to the person taking the role as Topics Master.
To ensure we have a different topics master for each meeting unless informed by the Auditor that this role will be covered by a Facilitator.
MEMBERSHIP FUNDS €3 NIGHTLY
To ensure that each person has registered as a member and paid their €10.00 yearly fee.
Also failure to turn up for 25% of meetings in the year will deem you to be no longer a member and the same thing will apply to the committee.

P.R. PERSON
To advertise and discuss with the committee any ideas around advertising.
Also to display notices on notice boards and contact radio stations etc.
PR person will actively promote the debating society.
PHOTOGRAPHER
To be available at all events for taking photographs and to ensure if you are absent from a meeting that the camera is passed on to a member in order to ensure photo's are taken.
Process photos on a computer for distrubition and or print same.
Maintain albums of all events either digital or hard copy.
ROOM CONFIRMATION
To contact the Teachers Club week before meeting and book room i.e. speak with either Stephen, Dave or Tighe.
To make sure that the room is left as neat and as tidy when we recieved it.
NOTICE BOARD Meet & Greet
To arrive early for each meeting approximately 20 minutes beforehand and check with bar staff which room has been allocated to the Debating Society and display a notice in the hallway.
To greet members as the arrive and make a special welcome to any new people or guests i.e. facilator or guest from the People's College and introduce to other members.
To destroy the notice at the end of the night.
ATTENDANCE RECORDER
To ensure the attendance book is signed by each person as they enter the room.
To assist with the meet and greet espically with new members.
